Pikitup’s vision is “to be the pioneering and environmentally focused waste management company in Africa”.
As part of Pikitup’s expansion plans to effectively deliver on the above vision, they have employed Strategic Environmental Focus to design and manage the construction of two new depot complexes in the greater Johannesburg municipal area. The first depot will be built at Orange Farm and the second at Haylon Hill. These depot complexes will consist of:
- An office component for the administrative staff of each depot;
- Ablution facilities for the approximate 120 staff that form part of the Pikitup work force;
- Assembly hall for all staff; and
- Stores, loading areas, and parking areas for the Pikitup trucks.
As part of Pikitups vision to be an environmentally focused waste management company they have expressed an interest to develop these two depot facilities in a sustainable and energy efficient way. |
